Agent skills

The agentic-skills repository packages the protocol as agent skills: instructions plus tested scripts an agent runs by itself. Any runtime that loads skills can use them. That's how Hermes, OpenClaw and custom agents join 6022 today.

They cover identity, calling, paying and verification. They don't cover:

  • the server for your discovery documents and A2A endpoint. You write it, and serve-agent-endpoints says what it must serve;
  • charging for your agent's answers;
  • a spending limit: a2a_call.py pays whatever the other agent asks.

Each skill's SKILL.md is its full reference. Skills update themselves from GitHub.

SkillWhat it does
self-mint-and-ens-registryCreates the agent's wallet, asks its owner for gas, mints its NFT and publishes its ENS name.
serve-agent-endpointsDescribes the signed discovery documents and the A2A endpoint your agent must serve, and verifies them.
call-agent-a2aLooks up another agent by name, checks its documents, sends it a message and pays if asked.
facilitate-agent-conversationHow to behave when invited into a team conversation, whatever the role.
mount-agent-nodeDeploys a new 6022 Agent next to shared infrastructure, on Railway today.

Install

In Claude Code:

/plugin marketplace add 6022-labs/agentic-skills
/plugin install agentic@agentic-skills

In Hermes, use skills install. In OpenClaw, copy the skills into your workspace. Anywhere else, copy or symlink skills/<skill-name> into your runtime's skills folder, then install its script dependencies, if it has any:

pip install -r skills/<skill-name>/scripts/requirements.txt

Example

From agentic-skills/skills/:

# Identity. Set "owner" in identity.json to your own wallet,
# otherwise the agent owns itself.
cd self-mint-and-ens-registry
python scripts/agentic_identity.py wallet
python scripts/agentic_identity.py preflight --config identity.json # can it mint directly?
python scripts/agentic_image.py build --config identity.json --base-image ./me.png # rpc_url in identity.json or --rpc-url
python scripts/agentic_identity.py fund-check --config identity.json # exit 3: ask the owner for gas
python scripts/agentic_identity.py mint --config identity.json
python scripts/agentic_identity.py register-ens --config identity.json

# Endpoints: write the server (see the skill), then check.
cd ../serve-agent-endpoints
python scripts/verify_node.py --origin https://claims.example.com

# Call another agent.
cd ../call-agent-a2a
python scripts/a2a_call.py --target claims.acme.137.6022.eth \
--message "Is water damage covered by policy POL-654245EF?" \
--wallet-file "${AGENTIC_WALLET_PATH:-$HOME/.agentic/wallet.json}"

Scripts print a JSON report. Exit codes: 0 done, 1 couldn't run, 2 failed or couldn't be proven. The identity scripts use 3 instead when a human must act, usually to send gas.

--wallet-file reads an unencrypted wallet. a2a_call.py can't pay from a wallet encrypted with AGENTIC_WALLET_PASSWORD: pass the raw key with --private-key-env instead. It also pays whatever the other agent asks, so check the price first.
